Marie Félicité Ndong

Marie Félicité Ndong is a financial executive with over 15 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, and administration. She has public and private sector experience, working for accounting firms, commercial companies, and mainly for non-governmental organizations funded by USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UNFPA, Cartier Foundation, and the Embassy of Japan. She has vast knowledge and skills in management procedures, donor compliance, processing of accounting and financial systems operations, as well as administrative tasks and human resources management. She also has experience in analysis, financial reporting, and year-end work. Prior to joining the FES team, Marie Félicité was a senior accountant in the family planning sector with an organization covering Senegal and three countries in West Africa, namely Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. She has also worked with the Population Council, an organization working on research and solutions to improve the lives of the world's poorest people. Then the Africa Network Campaign on Education For All (ANCEFA) and also the West African Museums Programs (WAMP).
She holds a Higher Diploma of Accounting from the Polytechnic University in Dakar and a university diploma of technology, finance, and accounting option. She has also received training and certifications on capacity building, fraud, and bribery. She is fluent in French, speaks English, and speaks two major local languages of Senegal, Serer and Wolof.
